Holy Cross Catholic School football from Batavia defeated Annunciation of Aurora, 28-7, at Marmion Academy in the Aurora Catholic League Championship last month. The team finished 8-0.

The Maple Park Youth Basketball Program for third-through-eighth grade boys runs from mid-January through mid-March. Registration is open through Saturday, Nov. 12.

Knights Wrestling Club holds registration on Thursday, Oct. 13, from 6 to 7:30 p.m., and Saturday, Oct. 15, from 9 a.m. to noon at the KHS Cafeteria. First-year participants must bring a copy of birth certificate.

MAPLE PARK—Open tryouts will be held for a newly formed 12U Travel baseball team.

WASCO—Wasco Girls Fastpitch Softball has begun registration for 2011 Fall Ball season. Teams will be made by Saturday, Aug. 6; practices will start after Monday, Aug. 8, and games start approximately Saturday, Aug. 20.
