After dropping a home matchup with Yorkville back on Jan. 7, the Lady Knights hoops unit traveled along Game Farm Road and secured a hard-fought 45-39 victory.

Down 16-5 in the second quarter to host Aurora Christian on Friday night, the Lady Knights rallied to take the lead in the second quarter and cut down on mistakes in the second half to swipe a 46-37 result on Friday.

Kaneland High School 2006 graduate Lyndsie Long of Sugar Grove made Elmhurst College women’s basketball history on Tuesday night, becoming the school’s all-time leading scorer.

With the regular season entering its homestretch, the Lady Knights basketball team fell to Western Sun Conference rivals Sycamore on Saturday and Yorkville on Friday.

On Dec. 16, the sophomore Lady Knights took to the floor against Elgin at Burlington Central and came away with a 54-19 win.
