KANELAND—Kaneland School Board member Tony Valente on Monday expressed his displeasure with the high school’s test scores during the past two years, and Superintendent Jeff Schuler’s recent contract extension, when he read from a prepared statement at the beginning of the School Board meeting.

MAPLE PARK—At a second Maple Park Public Hearing to discuss the village’s proposed implementation of a TIF District held last Thursday, the Maple Park Village Board updated the residents on the current status of the project and answered their questions, as well as hear some of their concerns.

YORKVILLE—State Representative Kay Hatcher announced she will seek re-election to the General Assembly serving the 50th District, which serves approximately 600 square miles in Kendall, Kane and LaSalle counties.
