MAPLE PARK—Kaneland High School Principal Chip Hickman is pleased to announce that 36 Kaneland High School students have been recognized as 2012-13 Illinois State Scholars.

Experience-infused lineup sees action at Geneva, Limestone KANELAND—While golfers often prefer to face other competition after several weeks of practicing against each other, the Kaneland Knights were hoping for a more ideal result.

KANELAND—How does a golf squad repeat good fortune of a year ago, despite the loss of two intregral pieces? KHS coach Mark Meyer, in his sixth season, has some ideas.

Kaneland—The following students have been recognized for Term 2 as Students-of the-Term:

Students who exemplify the type of effort, commitment, character, leadership qualities and academic effort, including achievement, improvement and contributions, that are desired of all Kaneland students are recognized as Students-of-the-Term.

KANELAND—Looks like KHS has a bunch of straight shooters.

KANELAND—Kaneland earned two wins over rivals from the Interstate Eight Conference and the Little Ten.

KANELAND—Kaneland golfers had a nice go of it at Rochelle Golf Club on Wednesday, Aug. 25, taking care of their conference rival by a 163-195 score.

KANELAND—Out of the gate, it’s a decent start for Kaneland High School golf after two meets. Meanwhile, senior cornerstone Hayley Guyton is leading the Knights pack with a more than decent start.

Guyton, Douglas, Krueger, Schuberg head up 2010 team KANELAND—If anything, KHS golf returns in 2010 with some experience at State.

Monday saw Kaneland High School dish out their annual awards for the fall sports season.

MAPLE PARK—While Kaneland High School golfers are sure to be missing a senior presence from last year, the younger golfers moving up bring experience.
