KANELAND—2011 was a summer to remember in the annals of the relatively short history of Kaneland High School baseball.

School may be out, but for Kaneland baseball and sixth-year head coach Brian Aversa, there remains important work to be done.

KANELAND—Knights baseball (13-10, 9-5 Northern Illinois Big XII) saw itself making the most of its hits, in both wins and losses this week.
