KANELAND—Lady Knights track used the important meet at Streator High School to have a Northern Illinois Big XII pow-wow, and found they have a final output good for the middle of the pack.

KANELAND—With the regular season in its final weeks, the Kaneland High School girls track squad finds itself homestretching across finish lines.

KANELAND—Windy conditions abounded, and whomever emerged from Saturday’s Jenni’s ABC Meet in Maple Park would have to do so by force.

KANELAND—It took barely any time for Lady Knights girls track to get acclimated to the outdoor competition.

KANELAND—Numbers are down, and the roster no longer includes assets like Andie Strang, Kris Bowen and Brooke Patterson.

KANELAND—Coming a little later due to the storybook run of Kaneland baseball, KHS released its spring sports awards for 2010-11, highlighting a successful first step into Northern Illinois Big XII play.

KANELAND—With top-tier finishes on Friday during Kaneland's venture into the first-ever Northern Illinois Big XII Conference girls track meet, what else could make it a memorable evening?

KANELAND—At Millenium Field in Streamwood, Ill., the Lady Knights used key outings from some familiar names to reach a fifth-place plateau with 50 points.

KANELAND—For a top-three finish, ideal elements evidently don’t matter.

KANELAND—Here comes Lady Knights track. If the early practice sessions and indoor season were any indicator, many a girl in KHS garb will be finishing quite well in 2011 races.

GLEN ELLYN—In the last tune-up before the postseason begins, the Lady Knights track team participated in the final Western Sun Conference meeting at Glenbard South High School on Friday.
