SUGAR GROVE—The Village of Sugar Grove on Tuesday hosted an Open House for the Mallard Point/Rolling Oaks area drainage project.
Several months ago, the village hired engineering firm Trotter & Associates to study the wetlands and retention pond to determine the reason for elevated water levels and flooding in the Mallard Point area.
A meeting about the flooding in Mallard Point scheduled for the beginning of June cannot come soon enough for resident Mike Schoenberger.
Mallard Point residents still had questions for the village on Tuesday night after project engineer Mark Bushnell explained the findings of his inspection of their storm water management system.
