“Read on the Wild Side” prizes and program continue; Magic show and workshop; Fire safety day

The Friends of the Town and Country Public Library is putting together a cookbook in conjunction with the 80th anniversary of the library, including recipes submitted by members of the community.

The Friends of the Town and Country Public Library annual plant fundraiser will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Friday, May 8, and 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday, May 9.

A team from the Elburn Town and Country Public Library competed in the Trivia Bee for Literacy on Saturday at the Q Center in St. Charles.

Clifford, the big red dog, a favorite children’s book character, will visit the library again on Friday, March 27, at 11 a.m. Miss Judy will read to children, starting April 6 at 6:30 p.m.
