After a loss nine days ago to Glenbard South, it seems like Kaneland boys hoops has every intention of extending the good start as long as possible.

KANELAND—Not only do the Knights of Kaneland boys basketball want to deal with the ghosts of last year’s regional heartbreaker against the DeKalb Barbs, they also have to deal with the six-foot-10 gap in the middle of their lineup that finished 17-10 in 2010.

The game itself had a tough time getting started for Kaneland.

Even before the visiting Rochelle Hubs stormed out to an initial halftime lead, the game was originally shelved from a Dec. 8 starting point due to cold temperatures.
