Kaneland—Many fellow cross-country runners were witness to Kaneland High School sophomore Victoria Clinton’s success at the Class 2A State meet in Peoria two weeks ago, specifically the back of her jersey.

KANELAND—How can you replace a Lady Knights girls cross country squad that finished eighth in the Class 2A meet a year ago?

KANELAND—Kaneland High School athletics released their slate of Fall Sports Awards, with each sport trumpeting the best it had to offer, with some All-Northern Illinois Big XII honors thrown in for good measure.

BELVIDERE, Ill.—All KHS coach Doug Ecker could have hoped for was a consistent and smart race by his girls cross country team.

GENESEO, Ill.—Three runners in the top 10 equaled a second-place finish for the Kaneland Lady Knights cross-country team after Saturday’s Northern Illinois Big XII conference free-for-all.

The Kaneland High School girls cross country team impressed at Freeport’s annual invite on Saturday, garnering 38 points in the eight-team crowd.

ELBURN—Even with some assets sick and injured, Kaneland girls cross country still saw noteworthy efforts at its own showcase.

KANELAND—It’s been ideal running weather in mid-August.

Victoria Clinton of Elburn finished first among all women ages 1-11 in the 12th annual Hustle Up the Hancock in Chicago. Over 4,000 people competed in the 94 floor climb up John Hancock center in a fundraiser for lung disease research programs of Respiratory Health Association of Metropolitan Chicago.
